Jacqueline currently works on the Youth Opioid Response Project, leading a youth leadership program called Koreatown Organizing to Reduce Youth Opioid [Use] (KORYO), which focuses on informing youth about opioids and stimulants and increasing youth access to recovery services. Jacqueline has a bachelor’s degree in health science with a concentration in community health education and a Master of Public Health from California State University, Long Beach. With a background in public health, her focus is to empower communities, promote health, and improve the quality of life in our community through equitable and culturally inclusive policies, programs, and resources. She advocates for her community by seeking ways to remove systemic and structural barriers such as racism, poverty, discrimination, and oppression.
