AAPI Curriculum Hits Fundraising Goal

THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATIONS!!!

For May 2023—AAPI Heritage Month—one of our KSP youth participants, Abbi-Hope Park, created an Asian American Pacific Islander K-9 curriculum (aapicurriculum.com), inspired by her KSP education, which includes eight lesson plans, materials, instructions, and resources for educators. Noting the lack of AAPI representation in her own education, Park created this curriculum to include poetry, history, legal cases, literature and photojournalism.

With your help, Abbi reached her goal of $2,800 and was able to print and distribute her curriculum. If you, or someone you know, is an educator who is interested in receiving access to the AAPI curriculum and furthering Abbi’s mission of legitimizing AAPI counterstories in school curricula please visit aapicurriculum.com OR reach out to KSP@kyccla.org!

Thank you for your help and support!
