Koreatown Storytelling Program and Korean American Story Interview with Barbara Uni Lee Potter

In 2022 and in partnership with Korean American Story, Koreatown Storytelling Program interviewed Barbara Uni Lee Potter. Barbara spoke to her experiences of being a Korean American Pioneer, a descendant of the First Wave of Korean immigration, and one of the earliest known Korean American adoptees. We were incredibly lucky to hear her fascinating story of being raised by the Ahn Family (Helen Ahn was a primary caregiver) and document the Korean American experience in Los Angeles from the early first and second generations of pioneers.
