George Takei at LA Public Library

Koreatown Storytelling Program is partnering with @lapubliclibrary and the @jamuseum to discuss George Takei’s incredible graphic novel THEY CALL US ENEMY. During this online event on April 15, at 4:00 p.m., KSP students Abigail E. and Abbi-Hope Jihye Park will lead an intergenerational dialogue on systemic racism, the forced incarceration of Japanese Americans during WWII and the rising numbers of anti-Asian violence.

They will interview June Berk, a former incarceree at the concentration camps in Robert, Arkansas.
