KSP Awarded the Eisner Foundation Grant!

Koreatown Storytelling Program is honored to have been awarded a two-year grant from The Eisner Foundation. This is a very important renewal for KSP, as they are our earliest and most steadfast supporters. The Eisner Foundation awards programs focused on intergenerational efforts that combat age segregation. Their generosity has helped to shape our mission and values.

With this continued support, KSP will continue our mission of bridging generations in the Los Angeles Koreatown area by teaching community storytelling, oral history, and ethnography practices to both youth and elders.

The 2023-2024 KSP cohort will focus on engaging in conversation with and collecting stories from the LGBTQIA+ community in K-Town. Our curriculum will study the history of LGBTQIA+ rights as our youth cohort prepares to interview and document the stories of older LGBTQIA+ adults.
