Indigenous Botanical Dyeing Workshop!
On Sep. 16, KSP kicked off our 2023-2034 cohort with an indigenous botanical dyeing workshop at Harold A. Henry Park. Joel Garcia from Meztli Projects taught us all about indigenous dyeing methods using indigo, acorn, and locally foraged black walnut. We had such a fun time learning and dyeing fabrics together – it was a great way to kick off the new semester!
