Abigail's Quarantine Vlog: Koreatown Storytelling Program 2020
Für Elise, PowerPuff Girls, Coffeeshops and Driving Lessons
Chaerin’s Day in Quarantine
“Koreatown is still changing…however, because of this virus, the character of our community might disappear.”
Quarantine Graduation
“I felt like a rebel going against the rules, but you know, we all need it sometimes.”
Behind Closed Doors
“It is more concerning during COVID because the kids aren’t being seen, so if they get hurt, no one’s there to call.”
Breathing
I’m suffocating. The lockdown caught me by surprise; when I first heard about it I felt like I was living in a dream fabricated by Yorgos Lanthimos. Everything was still here—just now slightly tilted left. My personal unease left me grasping for distractions, hoping everything will calm down in two weeks. I have always dreamt of when classes would be out for the day. I’m beginning to regret dreaming for it.
Chaerin’s Quarantine Journal Entry
“Throughout this time of quarantine, I realized that living in self-isolation reconnects you with your mind and family, and prevents more people from getting the virus.”
